FreeRide Surf & Skate Shop is located 4 blocks north of University Avenue on 13th Street near the University of Florida. Originally Inland Surf Shop, our roots date back to 1975 when surfers were skaters and skaters were surfers. Through friends, the name changed to FreeRide in 1997 and we continue to keep the same friendly, laid back vibe for over 30 years. FreeRide takes care of Florida's landlocked surfers. We have the same love for the ocean, sand and waves...our drive just takes a little longer. We're kind of like a support group in the middle of Florida. We carry a full selection of new and used surfboards, boogie boards, stand-up paddle boards, and skim boards. Stock up on rash guards, wetsuits, boardshorts & bikinis. Everything from leashes, car racks, traction pads, fins and so much more! When we can't surf...WE SKATE!
